Beier Engineering provided complete civil infrastructure design for the Silverthorne Planned Unit Development (PUD). Silverthorne PUD is a 4 acre high density multi-family residential subdivision consisting of eight duplexes and one 4-plex residential 2-bedroom units. The subdivision design elements provided by Beier Engineering are:

  • 600 ft of rural section roadway (ditches)
  • 500 ft of sanitary sewer main extension (City of Viroqua Standard)
  • 600 ft of water main extension (City of Viroqua Standard)
  • Mass Grading of approximately 2000cy cut, 10,000cy fill
  • 9 lots with sewer/water services
  • 1 stormwater management ponds
  • Coordination with the City of Viroqua for design of future city infrastructure
  • Submittal of Design Packages to Include:
    • City of Viroqua General Development Plan
    • City of Viroqua Site Specific Implementation Plan
    • WDNR Storm Water Management Plan, Hydraulic Modeling, Erosion Control, and Permitting
    • WDNR Sanitary Sewer Extension Permitting
    • WDNR Watermain Extension Permitting

Beier Engineering also provided cost estimating, bidding documents, coordination with contractors and construction Inspection.
